STFII

BFI's Strengthening the Fashion Industry Initiative (STFII) aims to deliver six (6) global-standard fashion training programs at pivotal points in the fashion value chain that would lead to significant improvements in the global competitiveness of fashion brands.

PROGRAM BENEFITS

The STFII will strengthen lead fashion designers, fashion leaders, fashion service providers and private Fashion schools to produce better-skilled designers. The upskilled talent pool will portend the production of more globally competitive fashion products, attracting more export earnings for countries and regions where fashion practitioners are currently economically disenfranchised.

PROGRAM APPROACH

Fashion evolves constantly. Trends emerge, fade, reappear and disappear over time. STFII training fosters the environment, community and resources that provide fashion entrepreneurs with the tools, deep understanding and exceptional know-how to navigate this constant evolution successfully. This means they won't be left behind as the global industry progresses. Achieving this kind of competitiveness is at the heart of the Program, driving - in essence - the creation and development of exceptional products that succeed globally
